Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 April 2026
Cognitive Calm is built for families. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do not do.
The short version
- We do not show ads in the app or sell your data.
- We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers that follow you around the web.
- If you choose to sign in, your account and optional game progress backup are stored securely with Supabase (encrypted in transit; access controlled by industry-standard authentication and database rules).
- Much of your play data can stay on your device until you decide to sync — see below for details.
What stays on your device
Game progress and preferences (such as theme and language) are saved locally in your browser first. That lets the experience work smoothly and respects your choice to use Cognitive Calm without an account.
If you create an account
When you sign in with email, we use Supabase Auth to send you a secure magic link. We store your email so you can access your account. If you back up progress to the cloud, that backup is stored in our Supabase database under your account, protected by row-level security so only you can read or update your own row.
Product improvement (anonymous)
We may collect a small amount of anonymous, first-party usage information to understand how the product is used (for example, that a game was started). This uses a random ID on your device; we do not use it for ads, and we do not link it to your email or account.
Children and parents
Cognitive Calm is intended as a calm, educational experience for families. If you are a parent or guardian, please supervise younger children's use of the internet and decide together whether to sign in or stay local-only. We aim to collect only what we need to run the service.
